Okay, these whimsical outdoor bridal portraits are probably one of my favorite shoots of all time. I’m still pinching myself that I get to do this as my job.

These whimsical outdoor bridal portraits came about when a local Florida florist and friend of mine, Cassandra DeAnn, reached out about her new creative initiative. Known as Ever After DeAnn, Cassandra recently shifted her brand from doing full-time wedding florals. Instead, she’s focusing on human design sessions and business coaching! After ten years in the wedding industry, it took a toll. Her foray into this more holistic and intuitive side came about after a lot of self-discovery — and she’s now hoping to guide others in the industry to achieve their full potential, too.

We wanted the vibe to feel really organic and free for these whimsical outdoor bridal portraits. Wild florals and soft tones were the look-and-feel we were going for. Additionally, including a mix of tarot and reading cards, crystals, mirrors, and more completed the ethos Cassandra really wanted to achieve. 

All of these dreamy portraits were photographed on Cassandra’s family property! Stunning long grasses, graceful greenery, and a quintessential dirt road for those earthy vibes. Basically, we had the most perfect location and most perfect golden hour for these whimsical outdoor bridal portraits. 

Our earth-goddess of a model for the shoot was Dianna from @the.dianna.maria. She was perfect for what Cassandra was hoping for in this session! Dianna’s so in touch with her feminine energy, at peace with who she is, and especially knows how to enjoy every last drop of the sunshine in the day. We all had a lot of fun being extra girly and twirling the gown all around. That tulle, that corset, that gown… just overall DREAMY!!!

Overall, we wanted to have a whimsical meets editorial vibe for these bridal portraits. It’s giving me some Pride & Prejudice vibes, or maybe Bridgerton with a Southern twang? Either way, I’m still swooning.

Next, I can’t wait to watch Cassandra continue to do what speaks to her. I gifted my sister and sister-in-law some human design sessions with her, and they were both amazed by how kind, intuitive, and knowledgeable she is.
