A: I love to show off your love and intimate connection, whether it’s during a wedding, couple’s session, or even a session with your brand. I’ll guide you through posing to give you photos that are uber romantic, genuine, airy, and full of the small details too!

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTO STYLE?

A: Absolutely - please bring me with you! As a travel addict, I am happy and ready to photograph your day anywhere in the world. In fact, I even have special discounts for my dream venues if you visit my wedding investment page. Send me more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding collection just for you! Let’s check off your bucket list together. 

WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?

A: Yes: upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release to download, use, and print your images. Post those babies!! 

WILL WE GET THE PRINT RELEASE TO OUR PHOTOS AFTER OUR WEDDING?

A: There’s a Pinterest board for that! Message me and I’ll give you suggestions and guidance on outfits, complete with photo examples. You’ll be comfortable and looking your best.


I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR.

A: 100% HECK YES! As someone who had a very small wedding I find the intimacy to be so beautiful and special. Depending on the number of hours you have set aside for photography, we have special rates for weekday and smaller weddings.

 

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH ELOPEMENTS?

A: Although I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional vendors, it is not required. The difference in quality is massive when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints or albums. They are an heirloom luxury that will last a lifetime.
 

DO I HAVE TO ORDER PRINTS THROUGH YOU?

A: Smaller wedding collections come with one photographer, although you can always add on a second photographer for an additional investment cost. I recommend a second photographer for weddings if you are not having a first look or if you are having a large wedding. You will see the larger packages include one automatically. 

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE THERE AT OUR WEDDING?

A: I’m a Sony girl and shoot on a professional-grade Sony mirrorless A7III. I always carry my camera, a backup Sony camera, a wide variety of lenses, a macro lens, and a surplus of batteries, chargers, and memory cards. I also have tiny accessory objects that I bring such as ring boxes and ribbon for your wedding details. I carry a back up for my supplies in the rare event something is damaged I still have a reliable system to capture your session.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

A: I absolutely do! I have worked with wonderful vendors in the industry and would be happy to share their information with you! Feel free to message me for recommendations. 

DO YOU HAVE A LIST OF PREFERRED VENDORS TO USE?

questions —

A: In the highly unlikely event I am unable to attend your session for an emergency, I have a highly experienced and professional list of photographers I work closely with that could step in and be my replacement if needed for weddings. Due to my networking and group of friendly colleagues, I will easily be able to find someone to be there for you and I will still edit the photos in my style. If it’s a smaller session, we will simply try to reschedule. Knock on wood, this hasn’t happened yet.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY THE DAY OF MY SHOOT/WEDDING?

A: A 30% retainer fee and signed contract is required in order to get your wedding day on the calendar. Two weeks prior to your wedding, the remainder of the balance is due.

HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE?

A: Generally I host scheduled, themed, mini sessions twice a year with limited spots. I do not discount or shorten regular sessions because they deserve my full time and focus and I want my clients to have a full experience. 

WILL YOU DISCOUNT AND DO A MINI SESSION INSTEAD?

A: If you’ve never heard of ‘golden hour’ know that it is THE BEST! Every photographer loves golden hour and for good reason: the light is glowy and magical! Golden hour is generally right after dawn or right before sunset. I will advise you on specific time periods throughout the year.


WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST?

A: Deep breaths! I got you!!! With my guided posing and prompts you’ll be natural models in no time. I specialize in candid reactions, emotions, and lots of real smiles so don’t worry! The photos you see on my page are real people just like you.

HELP! WE ARE AWKWARD! WE AREN’T MODELS! WHAT DO WE DO?!

A: Never. Once you’re booked you are my sole focus for your day. My feet would be way too sore to do more than one and I love to be able to provide exceptional customer service for all my couples. In order for us to be best friends I need to save my energy for the day just for you!

DO YOU SHOOT MULTIPLE WEDDINGS IN A DAY?

A: Since I was a kid I have always loved capturing and “freezing” moments through photos. On car rides I used to blink my eyes and pretend like I was taking a photo out the window. This passion grew with me as I grew up and I started photographing families and couples. I've always been a lover of love stories, romantic details, and the connections people have with others. Wedding photography was so natural for me to be drawn to because I get to experience weddings and record life moments that I absolutely adore. Every wedding (and session and person) has a unique moment or characteristic that it’s always exciting.
