When I have an open calendar date, sometimes I have the opportunity to assist one of my fellow Tampa wedding photographer friends with a wedding they are working. I’ve been lucky to create friendships with several local photographers, which makes it feel like I have colleagues instead of being a sole business owner, which can get lonely. It’s so nice to bounce around ideas with each other, share successes, and learn together.  A favorite meet up spot? Provisions Coffee & Kitchen for some of the best iced lattes in Tampa! I had time to look through my assisted wedding galleries to share for extra inspiration.

Assisted Wedding Galleries

Being a second photographer during a wedding gives you a unique perspective – you’re able to pull back and find creative angles, take extra detail shots, and catch some of the little moments in-between. I recently had some extra time where I was able to nd edit some favorites from my assisted wedding galleries. As a Tampa wedding photographer, getting to see venues I haven’t been able to visit is a real treat. 

Even though these aren’t my wedding couples, I grow to love them during the day. It’s honestly so fun to see two people so excited to get married. Because of that, it’s such a joy for me to second photograph weddings with other Tampa vendors when I have the open time. Since I have studied and practiced so often, it allows me to create images consistent with my work and style. Practicing using flash has allowed me to have consistency indoors and outdoors, light venues, or dark venues. Scroll through and see what you think! These are from 19 different weddings.
